Larry Simpson
Larry Simpson is the associate regional vice-president and director of strategic philanthropy and conservation for the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) in Alberta. He works in creating conservation and fund development opportunities for NCC.
Larry started with NCC in 1990, because many of the places he loved were being modified and he thought he should get involved and try to make a difference.
He holds a bachelor of commerce degree, and has previous experience fundraising with United Way, conducting land negotiations with a large energy company and volunteering with conservation groups.
Larry enjoys hiking, horseback riding, reading adventure and history books, good conversation with friends and family, Raptors basketball and thought-provoking movies. Grizzly bears get his attention, but all of nature has its beauty.
