Philippe Nougaret, vice-president, global enterprise risk at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, has been a member of the Nature Conservancy of Canada’s (NCC’s) Quebec Regional Board since 2022.
Philippe has a wealth of knowledge in agronomy, finance and management. He worked in internal control and risk management at the Groupe Crédit Agricole in Paris, first as an auditor and then as a senior auditor. In 2009, he was appointed senior auditor at the National Bank of Canada.
His passion for finance is coupled with a deep interest in current social and environmental issues. In 2020, he earned a Sustainable Investment Professional Certification from Concordia University.
Since his arrival in Quebec, this philanthropist at heart has been involved in several groups, including regional Lions clubs. In joining NCC, he aims to help protect natural environments and raise community awareness around the importance of his mission.
