Elizabeth Hubbard Property

Size: 474 acres (191 hectares)
Location: NE 17-18-1-W2, SE 20-18-1-W2 and SW 20-18-1-W2, in the RM of Willowdale. The property is located in 13 kilometres south of Esterhazy and 200 kilometres east of Regina.
Directions: From Regina, take Highway 1 east to the town of Whitewood. Turn north about 10 kilometres east of the town to the grid road. Follow the main grid as it curves east and then north for 25 kilometres. Turn west and travel about 1.6 kilometres. Turn north and the access to the Elizabeth Hubbard Property will be 800 metres away.

Significance: The Elizabeth Hubbard Property includes 385 acres (156 hectares) of hardwood forest, 15 acres (six hectares) of wetlands, 15 acres (six hectares) of native grasslands and 60 acres (24 hectares) of tame forages. Many species such as great horned owl, snowshoe hare, black bear, western red lily and Seneca root have all been spotted here!
Possible tasks: Adding to species lists, pulling and bagging weeds such as scentless chamomile, clean-up of old yard site and monitoring property for changes or concerns.
