Happy birthday, Quiddy!
A media availability and photo opportunity was held in the Fredericton Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) office over the noon hour today.
It was to celebrate the 50th birthday of our learned colleague, John Foley, (aka Quiddy) a long-serving NCC employee for more than 16 years.
John is the associate regional vice-president in charge of conservation for Atlantic Canada, which represents four provinces - New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador! He is a forester by trade.
In addition to giving this seasoned NCC veteran well wishes, staff enjoyed a pizza party. The highlight was when Atlantic Stewardship Director Laurel Bernard kindly delivered a delicious cake, which she had personally made.
