Jenny McCune
Jenny McCune is a plant ecologist fascinated by the long-term interrelationships between plant communities and human communities that share a landscape. Her PhD research at the University of British Columbia delved into the long-term history of forests and savannahs on Vancouver Island based on vegetation re-surveys and phytolith analysis. She is now a Liber Ero postdoctoral fellow based at the University of Guelph, working on the conservation of rare woodland plants in southern Ontario.
