Kate MacKenzie

Kate MacKenzie is a conservation biology assistant for the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC), and assists in delivering stewardship activities on properties all over southwestern Ontario. She is a graduate of the University of Victoria, where she studied biology and earth sciences, and has recently completed a post-graduate certificate in ecosystem restoration at Niagara College.
Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Kate has travelled to and lived in many places all over Canada, and has enjoyed exploring the landscapes and meeting the people that make this country so unique. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outside hiking and camping, as well as practicing yoga or playing hockey.
