Krista Longard

Krista Longard is a retired high school teacher with a passion for the environment and a proud director for the Mahone Islands Conservation Association (MICA).

Her daughter Hanna Longard is a recent graduate of Mount Allison University and has her bachelor of science degree with a double major in biology and philosophy. She, too, is passionate about and actively involved in protecting our environment. 

They are both happiest in nature. Her family has camped across Canada enjoying many beautiful protected parks and spaces. A family day sailing adventure to a MICA island is still one of their favourite adventures.
