Matthew Hughes
Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, Matthew Hughes has always had a personal love for this beautiful province. Before joining the Nature Conservancy of Canada, Matthew earned a bachelor of science degree in environmental geoscience at the University of Regina. During his last summer in university, he also worked as a geological assistant for the Saskatchewan Geological Survey, in which he spent approximately two months in northern Saskatchewan. In 2021, he is finishing an applied degree in geographic information systems from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Matthew is passionate about keeping active and exploring this beautiful country. He enjoys biking, fishing, camping and cross-country skiing.
