Megan Adams
Megan Adams is a PhD student with the Applied Conservation Science lab at the University of Victoria, British Columbia. She is passionate about the intersection of human governance systems and ecological systems, pursuing research that is applied and community driven.
Working with the Wuikinuxv Nation, Megan researches coupled bear-salmon-human systems, specifically habitat and resource connectivity for coastal grizzly bears.
Her work is supported by the Raincoast Conservation Foundation, Tula Foundation and Hakai Beach Institute, Wuikinuxv Nation, Nature Conservancy of Canada and the NSERC IPS program, as well as the leaders, collaborators and friends from coastal communities she works with.
