Megan Cooper

Megan Cooper is a natural area practitioner within the Urban Forestry section of the City of Surrey’s Parks department. Growing up with in an adventure-driven family, her love of natural spaces began at a very early age. She holds a bachelor of science in biology and environmental studies and a technical diploma in fish, wildlife, and recreation from BCIT. Her favourite hobbies are hiking, rock climbing and exploring the backcountry of her beautiful province of BC. When she’s not outside, you can probably find her cosy at home either knitting or reading. She also enjoys writing, and spending ample time with good friends and family.
