Yvonne Drebert

Yvonne Drebert is the executive director of the Living History Multimedia Association, and a primary partner in Lock3 Media, where she has worked since 2002 with her Partner, Zach Melnick. The two are best known for their Ontario Visual Heritage Project - a series of 12 documentaries, developed collaboratively with communities, which tell the stories of Ontario’s history, and can be seen on TVO.

Lock3’s recently completed series, A Desert Between Us & Them; Raiders, Traitors and Refugees in the War of 1812, was named as an honourable mention for the Governor General’s Awards of 2013. Lock3 is currently working with TVO and the Knowledge Network on Striking Balance, an eight-part documentary series that explores Canada’s UNESCO World Biosphere Reserves.
