Zack Metcalfe

Zack Metcalfe is a freelance journalist, photographer, columnist and author active across the Canadian Maritimes. His writing career began with the community papers of his Ontario hometown and later led him to western Prince Edward Island were he served as sole reporter of the West Prince Graphic. After a brief tenure with Halifax’s environmental movement in 2014 he returned to journalism with his present focus on endangered species, land conservation and climate change.

Metcalfe has nine works of fiction to his name, two of which were published by Toronto’s Iguana Books in the summer of 2016. When not rock climbing, hiking or birding he’s at his computer, writing.
