The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is proud to have been named on the Great Place to Work (GPTW) 2024 “Best Workplaces in Government & Social Services” list. This is the first year that GPTW has celebrated best workplaces in this category, which includes charitable, non-profit organizations. NCC’s profile, along with the other organizations that have been celebrated, can be viewed here.
As an employer, NCC is a top choice for individuals wishing to make a tangible contribution to nature and climate. We work with purpose. In our 2022 survey, more than 90 per cent of employees said their work has special meaning: this is not “just a job.”
NCC strives to foster a supportive work environment and culture. Staff are offered a flexible work model, including remote/hybrid work arrangements, to support the inclusive recruitment of talent across many locations within Canada.
Our employees are to thank for getting us here. As participants in the GPTW survey for seven years and through our annual action plans, NCC is committed to continually improving and building an environment that all employees can call a great place to work.
The GPTW list is based on direct feedback from employees of the hundreds of organizations that were surveyed by GPTW. To be eligible for this list, organizations must be GPTW-Certified and have exceptionally high scores from employees.
