Bring Me Home for the Holidays

The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) will be out front at Kerry Wood Nature Centre in Red Deer on Sunday, December 8, to spread holiday cheer. Chat with NCC staff to learn about NCC's work in conservation and restoration locally and around Alberta, and bring a spruce tree home for the holidays.

NCC will have a selection of Colorado blue spruce trees available by suggested monetary donation on a first-come, first-served basis. These non-native trees have been harvested from a former tree farm site on NCC's Haynes property in the Pine Lake area by staff and Conservation Volunteers as part of the property's renaturalization efforts.

Please note

There will be a limited number of trees available.

Please bring appropriate ropes, straps or tie-downs to secure a tree to your vehicle. You are responsible for transporting your tree.

Donation formats accepted include cash and digitally through the Nature Conservancy of Canada's donation webpage.
