Golden Ranches is in the Beaver Hills UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and is home to a variety of plants, including over 10 invasive weed species. We will be primarily targeting and removing common tansy and white cockle, which will be dug up, bagged and taken off the property. Pulling invasive plants encourages biodiversity and provides us with an opportunity to make a positive change, all while honing our identification skills and educating ourselves about the land.
