Franc Grove is a development officer – major gifts for the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) in Alberta. Working from the Edmonton office, Franc provides stewardship and high-quality investment experiences to NCC’s amazing supporters. Franc joined NCC in October 2022. He is fully passionate about conservation. As former executive director of the Tomorrow Foundation for a Sustainable Future, Franc managed Destination Conservation, a curriculum-based energy, water and waste conservation program that is delivered through schools across Canada, the Environmental Resource Centre, and EnerGuide for Houses home energy audits (with Green Communities Canada) in Edmonton. He and his family also own and steward a nature refuge on the Pembina River, near Sangudo.

Franc is a trained public relations professional and alumni of MacEwan University where he served as president of the Students’ Association and Alumni Association. He has worked primarily in fund development in the not-for-profit sector for more than 30 years in sectors including the environment, health/mental health, human services, the arts and restorative justice.

He is an outdoor enthusiast who loves spending time with his family, hiking, photography, music, self-publishing and connecting with inspiring people like NCC’s committed donors, partners, staff and volunteers.
