Hannah Schaepsmeyer
Hannah Schaepsmeyer is the volunteer program manager with the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) in Alberta. Based in Calgary, she works with NCC staff across Alberta to plan volunteer activities that help achieve NCC’s goals and connect Albertans to the landscape.
She spend most of her winter planning volunteer placements and preparing for the field season when volunteer programming ramps up. In the summer, she can be found behind her desk coordinating volunteer activities or out on NCC properties across the province working alongside volunteers.
Hannah started with NCC in May 2018 as an intern with the Conservation Volunteers program. She is constantly inspired by the dedication and passion of the Conservation Volunteers and the rest of the NCC team.
Hannah holds a bachelor of science degree in natural resource conservation. Prior to NCC, she worked in volunteer coordination and outreach in the environmental non-profit sector.
Outside of work, Hannah tries to get outside as much as possible hiking and camping. She also loves to cook.
