Tenzin Lektsog
Tenzin Lektsog is the manager of marketing and communications for the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) in Alberta. Her work focuses on growing NCC’s brand in Alberta and inspiring people to support nature. This is done through building trust and relationships with our audience and delivering value to supporters by connecting them to our programs, projects and fundraising campaigns. Her days include planning, designing and deploying regional marketing and communication strategies, and collaborating with both regional and national departments to identify marketing opportunities and support our fundraising campaigns.
Tenzin started with NCC in October 2019. She joined because she hoped to make a positive impact on our natural world. Working with NCC, she not only gets to help conserve the very lands and waters that nature and people depend on, but she is able to support conservation outcomes that will last for generations to come.
Tenzin holds a bachelor of science degree in biological anthropology. She has had the opportunity to act in several roles throughout her time at NCC, from development and communications assistant, to development and communications coordinator, to her current position.
Outside of work, Tenzin is most happy spending quality time with her fiancé, as well as their three dogs and two cats. She recently developed a new passion for interior design and home improvement.
