Jonathan Moore joined the Nature Conservancy of Canada in 2021 as regional controller (Atlantic). He is primarily responsible for managing the financial needs of the Atlantic business unit and the multiple concurrent projects across the four Atlantic provinces.

Jon grew up in rural Nova Scotia, surrounded by nature. He is a proud Memorial University of Newfoundland alumnus, and a graduate of the CMA Canada Strategic Leadership Program. As a CPA, he has spent most of the last decade working with non-profits and charities large and small — mainly in financial management, but also in public practice and as a board member.

Jon can often be found enjoying nature with his wife and children on one of the many hiking trails on the Avalon Peninsula.
