Are you looking for an opportunity to help care for nature? Join us for a morning of shoreline cleanup and trail maintenance at the Nature Conservancy of Canada’s (NCC’s) Brier Island Nature Reserve.
Brier Island is renowned for its bird life and rare plant species, as well as its beautiful coastal views and island culture. Together, we will clean the shore of marine debris and restore parts of the 3.5-kilometre-long Brier Island Coastal Trail that have been worn by weather and erosion. This will be our eighth annual Sights and Sounds of Brier Island event, and we are excited to meet all participants, old and new!
Pre-registration for this event is required.
Lunch and snacks on the Westport oceanside deck will be provided!
