Andrew Herygers is responsible for communications, marketing and public relations in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. His work at the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) also involves content generation, creative development and communications strategy.

Andrew is a writer, communication designer and photographer who holds a bachelor’s degree in communication design from NSCAD University.

Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Andrew grew up near Bathurst, New Brunswick, where nature and the great outdoors influenced and inspired his creative interests. In his spare time he enjoys travelling, cycling, hiking and kayaking.

Andrew values NCC’s long-term commitment to conserving Canadian wilderness areas and appreciates the important field work carried out by the stewardship team and volunteers.
