8:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Join Nature Conservancy of Canada biologists for a guided nature walk of Mills Block Forest to learn all about bats including the Little Brown bats and our work to support their habitats in the area!
The highest encounter rates for Little Brown bats in Ontario were in northwestern Ontario (west of Thunder Bay). White nose syndrome has caused immense decline, and the species is considered rare in Southern Ontario.
Please note
This is a night walk so please dress according to the weather and other conditions. Close-toed footwear, long pants and long sleeved shirts are recommended to limit exposure to biting insects.
Please bring and wear a headlamp if you have access to one.
