St. Peter’s Harbour Beach Nature Walk
July 15, 2023St. Peter’s Harbour Beach, Harbour Road (46.438761, -62.760850)
Interested in learning about the coastal plants and wildlife around your community? Looking to learn more about the impacts that Hurricane Fiona had on this shoreline?
Join us for a guided beach walk through the St. Peter’s Harbour Nature Reserve. Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) staff have been looking after this protected area for a decade and are eager to share their knowledge about the changes we have seen on the landscape both before and after the hurricane. We will highlight interesting species that have been observed and describe how they live and thrive in this dynamic coastal habitat.
This is a private event for community members. Pre-registration is required.
