Marie-Andrée Boisvert joined the Nature Conservancy of Canada in 2022 and is a biologist and the director of the eastern Quebec area.
Previously director general of the Organisme de bassins versants de la zone du Chêne, and an environmental and land-use consultant for the Communauté métropolitaine de Québec, Marie-Andrée has led various projects to protect and enhance Canada’s natural heritage. Her experience makes her an experienced resource for advancing nature conservation with a variety of partners, including municipal stakeholders.
Marie-Andrée is committed to the progress and success of the projects she coordinates. Her willingness to act, her ability to propose solutions and the importance she places on moving forward with consensus make her an ally of choice for nature.
Passionate about gardening and nature, Marie-Andrée loves to contemplate the world around her, from the little spring shoot to the chirping birds.
