These powerful ecosystems store vast amounts of carbon, filter our drinking water and provide habitat for wildlife, while strengthening northern communities. Together, we can protect this remarkable landscape forever.

Green Mountains Nature Reserve
In southern Quebec’s Appalachians, the Green Mountains Nature Reserve protects one of the last large intact natural areas remaining in the region. This picturesque landscape provides a vital connection for wildlife across the mountain range and toward the Canada–U.S. border. Since 2013, we have been protecting this special place. Together, we can ensure it remains a thriving part of the Appalachian landscape for generations to come.
