Prince Edward Island

The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) has been working on Prince Edward Island since 1978. Since then, we have helped protect some of the most ecologically significant parts of the Island. As Canada’s most densely populated province, PEI’s remaining areas of intact dunes, salt marshes and Wabanaki (Acadian) forests are precious. With the help of partners and community supporters like you, we can ensure the protection of even more important habitats for species across the province.

Browse our interactive map of nature reserves throughout Atlantic Canada. Visitors are welcome to explore most of these sites. However, as many NCC nature reserves in the province do not have paths, are undeveloped and may have hazards present, please exercise caution when visiting.
